- Ready to turn your technical expertise into commercial impact?
If you understand machinery, enjoy solving problems and know how to build lasting customer relationships, this could be your next challenge.
We’re looking for a Technical Sales Engineer who can combine mechanical knowledge, commercial drive and a genuine commitment to customer service. This is an opportunity to take ownership of your territory, work with customers on real engineering challenges and recommend solutions that make a difference.
This isn’t a role for someone who needs constant direction. You’ll need the confidence to work independently, the curiosity to understand a customer’s needs and the judgement to identify the right technical solution.
What’s in it for you?
- Real autonomy: Manage your workload across a defined territory, balancing customer visits, relationship development and new commercial opportunities.
- Technical credibility: Represent a globally established OEM specialising in condition monitoring products, with solutions designed around customers’ machinery and operational needs.
- A role with variety: Split your time between home, the head office and customer sites, with occasional overnight stays.
- Investment in your future: Access training and development to build your technical knowledge and strengthen your professional capability.
The challenge
You’ll be responsible for building customer trust, developing strong relationships and selling the right solutions from a specialist product portfolio. Success will depend on your ability to understand technical requirements, communicate clearly and follow through on commitments.
You’ll need to be self-motivated, commercially aware and comfortable making decisions. Just as importantly, you’ll bring integrity, accountability and a practical, logical approach to solving problems.
What you’ll bring
- A recognised mechanical qualification and an understanding of electromechanical machinery.
- Technical sales experience, excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- A full, clean UK driving licence and the confidence to manage your own territory.
- Experience using CRM systems and standard Microsoft Office applications.
- Condition monitoring experience and Mobius/BINDT ISO 18436 Category I certification would be an advantage.
Is this the right next step for you?
If you can combine engineering knowledge with the ability to earn customer trust, identify opportunities and deliver commercially sound solutions, we’d like to hear from you.
Ready to take ownership and make your technical expertise count? If you have the entrepreneurial spirit and passion this position requires then get in touch now before the deadline expires.
