Role Overview:
The Virtual Chatbot Team Lead will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of the enterprise Virtual Chatbot platform. This role ensures the chatbot delivers high-quality, scalable, and secure conversational experiences for employees, customers, and internal stakeholders. The Lead will manage end-to-end operations, guide a cross-functional squad, and collaborate across product, engineering, automation, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product & Platform Ownership
• Define and own the Virtual Chatbot roadmap.
• Lead LLM integration, intent design, and capability expansion.
• Track KPIs and improve chatbot accuracy, performance, and user experience.
2. Technical Leadership
• Guide architecture, integrations, and solution design.
• Ensure platform performance, security, and compliance.
• Support engineering teams with troubleshooting and enhancements.
3. Stakeholder Management
• Partner with business teams to onboard and develop new use cases.
• Translate requirements into technical deliverables.
• Represent the Virtual Chatbot in demos, reviews, and leadership interactions.
4. Team & Delivery Management
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional chatbot squad.
• Drive backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and quality delivery.
• Maintain documentation, testing discipline, and release processes.
5. Conversational AI & Knowledge Management
• Define conversation flows, intents, prompts, and fallback logic.
• Oversee knowledge base updates and quality control.
• Ensure consistent tone and compliance in all user interactions.
6. Innovation & Automation
Introduce AI driven automation and hyperautomation features.
• Integrate chatbot with APIs, workflows, and enterprise platforms.
• Deliver POCs to keep the platform modern and future ready.
Your qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
6–10+ years in AI, automation, or platform management.
Experience with enterprise chatbot platforms preferred.
Technical Skills
Expertise in Conversational AI, LLMs, NLP/NLU frameworks.
Experience with Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, or similar tools.
Strong API, automation workflow, and architecture knowledge.
Familiarity with analytics, data privacy, and security principles.
Leadership Skills
Proven experience leading technical or cross-functional teams.
Strong program management and problem solving skills.
Ability to convert business needs into technical solutions.
Preferred Domain Knowledge
Service management, IT operations, or digital transformation.
Experience with automation squads or hyperautomation.
