The Administrative Nursing Supervisor facilitates timely and safe patient flow and provides management and operational oversight of the acute care hospital setting, and ensures the provision of safe, quality patient care.
The Administrative Nursing Supervisor is responsible for coordinating hospital operations, supporting nursing and clinical teams, managing patient flow, addressing operational concerns, and serving as the primary administrative resource after hours, weekends, and holidays. This role collaborates with leaders, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clinical leadership throughout the hospital during assigned shifts.
- Serve as the hospital administrator representative in the absence of senior leadership.
- Coordinate staffing resources and facilitate appropriate patient placement and throughput.
- Support nursing teams with clinical decision-making, problem-solving, and patient care concerns.
- Respond to urgent situations, incidents, emergencies, and patient/family escalations.
- Promote a culture of safety, service excellence, and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Associates of Nursing degree
NM licensed RN or compact RN
5 years of relevant experience (acute care-tele or above) and/or leadership nursing experience required
BLS required
