Description
Our client, a healthcare system located near Charlotte, NC, has a need for a Director of Radiology to join their team. The Director will oversee 2 hospitals (totaling around 200 beds but expanding soon) and a FSED.
They are looking for someone that has already been a Director or a Manager for a decent amount of time. They want more established infrastructure experience with Epic, Radiant, financials, budget development, process improvements, consistent high patient and teammate satisfaction scores, as well as a higher level integration into the facility with other service lines.
Essential Functions
- Develops a long range operational plan relative to services, programs, capital and human resource planning.
- Develops an annual capital equipment and replacement plan. Recommends equipment modification, new equipment, and necessary renovations and construction projects. Develops the annual operational and capital equipment budget.
- Collects, generates, analyzes, and distributes various reports, documents, and statistical data as required.
- Follows up on error correction and establishes corrective action to address identified problems with patients, physicians, and employees.
- Approves various departmental purchases, product evaluations, space and equipment utilization as determined by hospital policy.
- Evaluates all divisions' quality of services and patient/employee safety using various monitors to rate performance. Makes various recommendations for quality improvements,
- Maintains proper liaison between hospital administration, medical staff, employees, and contractual groups.
- Contributes to the need to alter existing services or create new services based upon observed or marketing trends and surveys.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Health Care Administration required, or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years leadership experience required.
- ARRT preferred. AHRA membership preferred.
