Tradesmen International is immediately hiring motivated General Laborers for projects located in or around Tucson, AZ. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $18-$28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Site cleanup and material handling
- Loading, unloading, and staging construction materials
- Assisting skilled trades such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and sheet metal mechanics
- Demolition and debris removal
- Digging, trenching, and backfilling
- Operating basic hand and power tools
- Setting up and breaking down work areas
- Moving equipment and supplies throughout the job-site
- Assisting with framing, concrete, roofing, or finish work as needed
- Following OSHA safety standards and wearing required PPE
- Performing other general construction tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous construction or general labor experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Dependable transportation
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team
