Logistics Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguards the site/warehouse building and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Aligns with CM/PM on budget for tooling, equipment, and warehouse costs/purchases.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Audit and report inventory while securely maintaining digital logs and reports of material flow in and out of warehouse.
- Utilizing Hubble to exports into excel for incoming, outgoing, and inventory material tracking. (I can specify reports if needed)
- Maintenance of accuracy in material tracker created via Hubble reports and built in information in excel or Smartsheet that will be shared with the project team for visibility into warehouse data.
- Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work, attendance, time, and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Dynamically establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse.
- Set and communicate warehouse and team weekly goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads to meet 2-4 week look ahead requests.
- Keep up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations.
- Safety reporting from WH monthly via VI safety software, Velocity
- Updates in Procore daily reports et al. for incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Proactively communicate with Supply Chain, Procurement, other departments to ensure products are shipped and tracked in a timely manner against the project schedule needs or the Construction Manager.
- Finalizing warehouse location/alignments on budgets with PM
- Creation of Logistics Plan (Using template)
- Hiring and management of warehouse staff with CM/Site Lead (internal or staffing agency)
- Setting up warehouse scanner system, racking with barcoded locations, organization with staff
- Utilizing scanner to receive, put away, and transfer material to site ensuring physical and data storage system are aligned.
- Alignment with site team on “look ahead” of material needed on site and staging of material to ensure on time deliveries to site and reduce installation delays.
- Assisting in the setup of “jigs” and pre-fabrication areas and the prefab process for increased install efficiencies for execution.
- Working with SC/VIM/NADC on inventory, ship dates to align with install, deliveries, notifications.
- Keeping up to date inventory reports on shared project files. No more than 36-hour delay with entering/updating material on site.
- Conduct self-audits bi-weekly to validate efficiency of the team and speed of accurate communication.
- Actively communicating issues and needs to the project team.
- Ability to handle and lead all material management responsibilities at the PWH and
- Enter Omnitrackers with good detail as needed.
- Training of staff on reporting use/needs, ensuring safe, code compliant warehouses throughout all APS projects.
- Walk the project site with SM team members at least twice a week.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Specializing in excel (understanding of basic functions in excel such as VLOOKUP, Concatenation, etc. a plus)
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment a plus (motors, baggage handling systems, etc.)

This is a full-time, exempt position, eligible to receive an hourly rate and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. The salary range listed represents the maximum and minimum starting base pay for this position as of the time of posting. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate-dependent.
Salary Range: $103.500-$115,000.00
