Description
We are looking for a Senior Consultant, Management Consulting that will be part of the Supply Chain & Operations division part of the Consulting unit in IQVIA Italy (Milan).
Collaborating closely with the Associate Principal of the practice, the Senior Consultant will be involved in
supply chain innovation projects at the strategic, tactical and operational levels, aimed at driving and supporting the transformation and growth of organizations across the Life Sciences industry.
Examples of projects include:
- End-to-end supply chain maturity assessment
- Redesign of supply chain management processes
- Implementation of digital solutions to support demand and supply planning
- Optimization of material flows, inventory levels, and manufacturing and logistics resources
- Distribution network review
Main responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, on-time deliverables to client projects in the life sciences field.
- Review and analyze client requirements to develop insightful, value-added proposals.
- Engage with clients and present complete, client-specific solutions and recommendations, frequently collaborating with other IQVIA teams (Analytics, Commercial Consulting, Real World, Market Research, etc.).
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify client issues and perform desk research, leveraging IQVIA proprietary data assets.
- Maintain in-depth and consistently up-to-date knowledge of the client's strategies, business issues, and relationships, from senior management down to the operational levels.
- Contribute to the preparation, execution and follow-up of client workshops.
- Provide support to proposal development activities (provides support to Principals in proposal design/stream, finding of sources, etc.).
- Actively participate in clients’ meetings and visit clients’ plants – Italian territory mainly.
- Work independently and as part of a team, with responsibility for coordinating and supervising the work of more junior team members, providing them with direction and guidance.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- MSc degree in Engineering/Economics/Management with strong record of academic achievement.
- 5+ years' consulting work experience with a management consulting firm, with extensive expertise in transformation projects across Supply Chain and Operations (including experience in the Life Sciences industry).
- ASCM certifications (e.g., CPIM, CSCP, CLTD) are a plus.
- PMI certifications (e.g., CAPM, PMP) are a plus.

- Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent execution skills, consistently meeting deadlines.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is €55,800.00 - €83,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
