Location: Remote (Occasional Travel to London)
Salary: Circa £85,000 DOE + Bonus + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Operations to join a fast-growing healthcare provider delivering specialist community-based care services across the UK.
The organisation has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, person-centred care and is now entering its next phase of growth. With an established operational infrastructure and strong commercial performance, the business is seeking a strategic operational leader to scale service delivery, strengthen operational performance, and support continued expansion.
This is a senior leadership role offering significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence both operational strategy and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational performance of services across the organisation
- Oversee and develop an established management team, including an Operations Manager, Team Leader, and Care Coordinators
- Drive operational excellence, ensuring high-quality, safe, and person-centred service delivery
- Develop scalable systems, processes, and operational frameworks to support business growth
- Monitor service performance, KPIs, compliance, and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with commercial, clinical, and senior leadership teams to achieve strategic objectives
- Lead operational improvement initiatives and embed best practice across the business
- Support the mobilisation of new services and expansion into new regions
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, quality, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head of Operations, Operations Director, or senior operational leader within Health & Social Care
- Demonstrable experience leading multi-site operations and managing senior operational teams
- Strong understanding of operational performance, governance, compliance, and quality assurance
- Proven track record of scaling operations within a growing organisation
- Ideally has worked within an organisation of 200+ employees with an annual turnover of £15–20 million+
- Commercially astute with experience balancing operational excellence and business growth
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate strategically while maintaining strong operational oversight
