Inventory Manager

Overview

Mancon Inc. is currently seeking an Inventory Manager to support warehouse and distribution operations. This position supports mission readiness by maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting efficient material flow, and helping ensure operational performance standards are consistently achieved within a high-volume Government logistics environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and analytical skills, the ability to manage shifting operational priorities, and experience supporting inventory accountability and warehouse operations within automated logistics systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the inventory operations of Government-owned mission stock.
• Direct employees engaged in conducting WMS inventories, researching inventory discrepancies, and documenting gains and losses through causative research, performing denial research, and item data maintenance.
• Responsible for ensuring the inventory integrity of the Government-owned mission stock meets the Acceptable Performance Levels (APLs) outlined in the contract.
• Plan the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on projected workload on a weekly or monthly basis.
• Establish deadlines, priorities, and work sequences IAW general work schedules, methods, and policies established by the Site Manager and/or Alternate Site Manager.
• Redirect workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work and to accommodate daily workload fluctuations.
• Conduct planning of current and future work schedules, providing workload data, estimates, information on staffing needs, and recommendations as to the scheduling of projected work.
• Ensure work is done properly and efficiently IAW the terms and conditions of the contract.
• Use WMS and other Government Data Systems to perform the requirements.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in inventory using DLAs WMS OR an equivalent automated WMS within the past five (5) years.
• Secret Security Clearance is required.

Ability to obtain and maintain forklift

Physical Requirements

Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
