Description
Your mission
3devo B.V. is looking for a practical Full Stack Software Engineer to join our R&D team. We are a leading innovator in the field of plastic recycling and processing technologies for additive manufacturing. Our product range includes filament extruders and shredders, all designed, developed, and manufactured in-house. Recently, we launched the latest iteration of our Filament Maker Two and are actively developing a range of add-ons to further enhance our machines, with additional focus on software for the 'smart' future of our machines.
Our Filament Maker is a compact extrusion system that turns plastic pellets or recycled materials into high-quality 3D printing filament. The newest generation runs on a Linux-based system with an integrated touchscreen interface. Inside, it combines precise control of heaters, motors, and sensors with a modern software stack, allowing users to experiment with materials, optimize settings, and produce consistent filament directly on-site. We're searching for someone who is interested in the 3D printing industry and is genuinely passionate about its future.
As a full stack engineer at 3devo, you’ll be building the software that powers our filament makers. On a typical day you might:
- Develop new features in the UI that make the machines easier and more intuitive to use.
- Extend and improve the backend that controls heaters, motors, and sensors.
- Collaborate with embedded and hardware engineers to ensure smooth integration between software and machine.
- Contribute to monitoring software, local and cloud based.
- Track down and solve issues to keep performance reliable.
- Contribute ideas for improving both the product and the user experience.
