Position Summary
The Compliance Specialist supports providers and program operations. Responsibilities include maintaining provider records, reviewing provider profiles and contract-related documentation, monitoring compliance with program requirements, processing attendance and payment-related activities, and supporting providers through technical assistance and guidance. This position helps ensure compliance, accuracy, accountability, and effective service delivery in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, funding requirements, and contractual obligations. Success in this role requires attention to detail, professionalism, organization, customer service, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment.

Primary Responsibilities
Provider Compliance & Contract Support
- Review provider profiles, contracts, amendments, and supporting documentation in accordance with established requirements.
- Monitor provider compliance with contractual, programmatic, and funding requirements.
- Support activities that promote provider understanding of program expectations and compliance standards.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable policies, procedures, contracts, and program requirements.
Attendance & Payment Processing
- Process attendance submissions and related payment activities in accordance with established procedures.
- Review attendance adjustments, supporting documentation, and related records for completeness and accuracy.
- Verify information used for payment processing and provider reimbursement activities.
- Support timely and accurate processing of provider payment activities.
Provider Support & Technical Assistance
- Provide technical assistance and support to providers regarding contracts, attendance, payments, compliance requirements, and related processes.
- Respond to provider inquiries through phone, email, virtual, and in-person communication.
- Communicate program requirements, documentation expectations, and process updates clearly and professionally.
- Support positive provider relationships through responsive and effective customer service.
Documentation, Records & Data Integrity
- Maintain provider records, documentation, contracts, profiles, and supporting materials in organizational systems.
- Enter, review, update, and maintain information within databases and program systems.
- Review and validate information to support data accuracy and integrity.
- Support reporting, monitoring, audit, and continuous improvement activities through accurate recordkeeping and documentation.

Education & Experience
Required
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Services, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of experience in customer service, compliance support, contract administration, records management, program operations, or a related field.
- Experience maintaining records, reviewing documentation, and working with databases or program systems.
Preferred
- Experience supporting school readiness, early learning, education, social services, compliance, contracts, or provider services programs.
- Experience reviewing contracts, attendance, payments, documentation, or compliance-related information.
- Training and implementation experience related to trauma-informed care, Conscious Discipline, Strengthening Families, or similar frameworks.
- Experience supporting monitoring, audits, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance activities.
