As a Certified Nurse Aide, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:
- Provide hands-on personal care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily activities.
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure.
- Help patients safely walk, transfer, and use mobility equipment.
- Follow each patient's individualized care plan.
- Monitor and report changes in a patient's condition to the care team.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
- Remind patients to take medications as directed.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and follow safety and infection control guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation, protect patient privacy, and participate in required training.
What is Required?
- Current State certificate as a Home Health Aide certification or Certified Nursing Aide certification
- Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
- Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.
