Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Branch Manager to lead distribution efforts for Franklin Templeton in the Trivandrum branch (K&K Cluster). This is a key role responsible for expanding business across multiple channels including Banks, Private Wealth, Independent Mutual Fund Distributors (IMFDs), and the Retail channel. The role also involves mentoring trainees, strengthening relationships with distribution partners, and driving branch-level growth while adhering to FT’s compliance and business standards.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of Sales Manager ?
Develop and manage strong relationships with Banks, Private Wealth, IMFDs, and Retail channel partners to achieve branch business goals.
Actively engage with defined relationships to generate business in FT funds.
Deliver product presentations and training sessions to enhance knowledge and confidence of channel partners.
Mentor and guide trainees in achieving their business targets and professional development.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Franklin Templeton’s product suite and effectively communicate value propositions to stakeholders.
Work in close partnership with business stakeholders to scale up existing business and expand market share.
Adhere to all internal processes, compliance requirements, and reporting timelines.
Identify new opportunities within the distribution network and contribute innovative ideas for business expansion.
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
Graduate/ Post-Graduate in Marketing or Finance.
Mandatory NISM Series V-A & NISM XIII
Strong understanding of financial markets and mutual fund products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage across levels, including senior stakeholders.
Strong organizational, planning, and supervisory skills with prior experience in team mentoring/management preferred.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to add value beyond routine responsibilities.
