JLL - Senior Facilities Manager (M2)
Transform at JLL as a Senior Facilities Manager on a prominent Fortune 500 technology client account! You will lead our integrated facilities management team at our clients global corporate headquarters.
Location: Nashville, TN 37203 (NW Nashville)
Work Schedule: Onsite, M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Travel Requirements: 15% regional travel, including occasional overnight stays
Reports to: East Region IFM Lead
Estimated base salary range: 130,000 - 150,000
What this job involves:
The Senior Facilities Manager leads integrated facilities management services for assigned client sites, ensuring safe, compliant, reliable, and customer-focused operations. This role is the primary liaison among the client Corporate Real Estate team, executive leadership, landlords or third-party owners, property management, service providers, and internal business lines. The Senior Facilities Manager manages facility management staff, service partners, budgets, performance reporting, and continuous improvement while protecting facility assets and supporting the client brand and workplace experience.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Lead the delivery of integrated facilities management services across engineering, maintenance, transactions, projects, planning, workplace support, and related service lines for assigned sites and geography.
- Build transparent, productive relationships with client stakeholders, executive leadership, property managers, landlords, tenants, vendors, and internal partners; promptly resolve service, lease, and tenant-relations issues with material business impact.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience by monitoring satisfaction, responding to concerns, communicating clearly, and ensuring service delivery meets the client’s standards and professional brand image.
- Direct, coach, and develop the facilities management team; set clear expectations, manage performance and outcomes, support succession planning and compensation processes, and maintain measurable development plans for direct reports.
- Oversee hard and soft services, asset management, maintenance of facilities assets and grounds, work-order resolution, and coordination with engineering teams to ensure safe, dependable facility operations.
- Manage service providers and preferred suppliers; confirm vendors meet scope-of-service commitments, quality standards, CMMS response requirements, and client satisfaction expectations.
- Prepare, manage, and forecast operating and capital budgets; review variances, support recovery and reimbursement processes, and provide accurate expense, capital, and forecasting reporting aligned to client objectives.
- Maintain compliance with account processes, client standards, JLL minimum audit standards, lease obligations, and all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Own CMMS reporting and KPI/SLA performance management; use data and reporting to identify trends, improve service delivery, and communicate results in monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.
- Support the Account IFM Director, Regional Facilities Manager, and client leadership in implementing annual management plans, portfolio initiatives, and short- and long-term projects.
- Manage third-party owner and tenant relationships, including timely reporting, management fee collection, reimbursements, and contract or lease compliance where applicable.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in facilities management, business administration, finance, project management, engineering, property management, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Eight or more years of progressive facilities management experience, including management of hard and soft services; equivalent extensive relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
- Five or more years of people leadership or supervisory experience leading an integrated facilities management team.
- Experience supporting commercial or high-profile facilities through a third-party provider, corporation, or consulting environment.
- Working knowledge of commercial real estate and building systems, including HVAC, electrical, telecommunications, furniture, building energy management systems, and facility asset management.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, capital planning, forecasting, variance analysis, accounting practices, and vendor or contract management.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data using Excel or similar tools and manage CMMS reporting; proficiency with systems such as Corrigo is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, relationship-building, problem-solving, written communication, verbal communication, presentation, and customer-service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience with multi-site or regional facilities portfolios and landlord or lease administration responsibilities.
- Experience developing and executing KPI/SLA improvement plans and presenting operating results to senior client stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools and CMMS platforms, particularly Corrigo.
