Key Responsibilities
We would like to meet someone who is
- 3+ years of commercial software development experience within a full-stack environment.
- Proven experience building and deploying production applications using React, TypeScript and Next.js (App Router).
- Strong understanding of modern Next.js architecture, including Server Components, Client Components, routing and data-fetching approaches.
- Good understanding of rendering, caching and performance considerations in modern Next.js applications.
- Able to make informed implementation decisions around rendering, caching and server-side behaviour, and diagnose issues in complex web applications.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs and backend services.
- Understands the difference between React concerns, Next.js concerns, application concerns and service concerns.
- Experience with modern Git workflows and collaborative software development practices.
- Effective communicator who understands project goals and can explain technical decisions clearly.
- Pragmatic problem solver with a strong desire to create high-quality, tested code.
