We are seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Facility Attendant position. Operating under the supervision of the assigned supervisor, this position oversees general use of the Community Center, provides customer service to Community Center customers, and manages the rental of facility rooms and the setup of classrooms. This position entails organizing and disassembling tables and chairs for recreational use and preparing equipment for activities and events. The individual is tasked with maintaining cleanliness in the facility rooms, alerting the manager to any repair needs, conducting safety evaluations, and assisting in Child Care as needed. The ideal candidate should possess strong motivation, demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team, exhibit excellent communication skills, have a solid foundation in customer service, and be adept at problem-solving.
We are currently hiring for the following location(s):- Loudoun Valley Community Center, Purcellville, VA
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Ensuring the management of drop-in users, renters, and patrons adheres to the guidelines and actions established by the Center and Department.
- Providing excellent customer service by answering inquiries, registering participants, collecting fees, and enforcing facility rules.
- Monitoring the building and grounds, processing work orders, procuring supplies, and notifying management of necessary repairs.
- Providing substitute coverage for summer camps or preschool programs as required.
- Maintaining and updating vehicle records if applicable.
- Facilitating the rental and use of facilities, including the setup and breakdown of classrooms, gymnasiums, fitness rooms, and game rooms.
- It is possible that other essential duties related to the specific role and department may be performed as required.

Hiring salary commensurate with experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent; depending on assignment, six (6) months experience supervising children during recreational or educational activities may be required. A valid driver’s license is required.
Must undergo criminal, credit, DMV, fingerprint, and Child Protective Services (CPS) background checks. Maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record. Annual reviews of driving records may be conducted to maintain qualification standards. Pass TB test within 30 days of hire and each year thereafter. Annually complete a sworn disclosure statement or affirmation disclosing any criminal convictions or pending criminal charges. Complete First Aid/CPR certifications before hire or immediately upon hire.
