Position Summary:

The Process Engineer will lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for driving productivity improvements, reducing waste, improving quality, and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles to support operational excellence.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects.
  • Develop and maintain Value Stream Maps using Value Stream Mapping
  • Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities.
  • Reduce changeover times utilizing SMED methodologies.
  • Develop a system to capture, educate operators to record/reduce Scrap
  • Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Facilitate root cause analysis investigations.
  • Develop and implement standard work procedures.
  • Partner with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams.
  • Track and report KPI improvements.
  • Train employees on Lean tools and methodologies.
  • Maintain a strong floor presence
  • Experience in TPM and reliability programs related to maintenance PM’s

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing process improvement experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of:
    • Lean Manufacturing
    • 5S
    • Kaizen
    • Value Stream Mapping
    • Standard Work
    • TPM
    • Root Cause Analysis
  • Proven record of cost reduction achievements.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (preferred)
  • Experience managing multi-site improvement initiatives (preferred)
  • Low/ high-volume manufacturing experience (preferred)
