At Cleveland Clinic, every caregiver plays an important role in creating an exceptional experience for our patients, visitors, and fellow caregivers. As a Coordinator III, you’ll provide essential administrative support to the Environmental Services (EVS) team, helping keep daily operations organized, efficient, and moving forward. Your work will directly support frontline caregivers, supervisors, and leaders across the department.
In this role, you’ll manage Oracle invoicing, purchase orders, uniform ordering, employee documentation, orientation support, and supervisor deliverables. You’ll also help facilitate weekly orientation classes, monitor Joint Commission compliance, provide EVS Dispatcher coverage, and support special projects. This role offers variety and the opportunity to collaborate with caregivers across EVS and key stakeholders throughout Cleveland Clinic.
A caregiver in this position works days, M-F. 8:00am—4:30pm
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Coordinate all support and clerical activities for the department by providing support to internal clients while functioning as a liaison with external clients.
Coordinate various department activities by facilitating analysis and reporting information.
Develop, maintain and distribute reports for schedules, budgets, staff, PTO and patient information.
Prepare, provide analysis for and implement special studies and projects.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High School Diploma or GED
Five years of office experience
Five years of experience coordinating and assisting with management functions and special projects
Proficient with spreadsheets, word processing and database software
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
In some locations, ability to move up to 20 pounds
