Job Family Group, Job Family and Level Descriptors:

Facilities & Real Estate Group

  • Plans, controls and directs facilities management activities such as site location and acquisition, right-of-way negotiation, building and land acquisition and disposition, space leasing, property management and maintenance of properties, including all labs and offices outside of manufacturing locations.

  • Facilities & Real Estate

  • Ensures the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities and controls real estate activities including identification and acquisition of land and buildings for the Company's operations. May develop plans, policies, principles and procedures that support business strategies, business priorities, and allocation of resources.

  • Experienced professional or supervisor with in-depth knowledge in a technical or specialized area, responsible for completing complex tasks requiring interpretation of policies and practices, under minimal supervision. May supervise employees, focused on task performance, and recommend improvements to the delivery of specialized processes

  • Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and advanced knowledge of related job disciplines.

  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and differentiators in the market.

  • Has built a detailed understanding of market, function, processes and policies gained through multiple years of experience.

  • Interprets and applies organizational policies; recommends changes/improvements to specialized processes and procedures.

  • May have formal supervisory responsibilities, guiding and prioritizing the activities of individual contributors with similar responsibilities.

  • Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.

  • Works independently with minimal guidance, providing guidance to less senior team members.

  • Assignments often require independent judgment and evaluation.

  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

  • Lead the administration team, set work plans, and support team development. 

  • Build and improve administrative policies, procedures, budgets, and work plans. 

  • Manage office services including reception, security, cleaning, canteen, drivers, office supplies, and daily workplace support. 

  • Organize internal and external visits, reception activities, and related external coordination. 

  • Manage company licenses, certificates, seals, and related compliance processes according to company procedures. 

  • Support supplier selection, qualification, contract review, and vendor performance for administration-related services. 

  • Maintain administrative public relations and support the company’s employer image. 

  • Drive service quality improvement, cost control, and administrative efficiency. 

  • Ensure work is carried out in line with company safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
