Human Resource Director
The full-time remote Human Resource (HR) Director provides multi-state strategic leadership and direction for the organization’s HR function and corporate operations, ensuring HR programs, policies, and practices align with the organization’s mission, values, and business goals. This role oversees and guides all core HR areas including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, compliance, and HR operations. The HR Director directly reports to the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer and serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and managers, offering guidance on workforce planning, organizational development, and complex employee matters. The HR Director leads the HR team, drives continuous improvement of HR systems and processes, and ensures consistent application of employment laws and internal policies while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
In addition to leading HR functions including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits administration, payroll, retirement plans, and HR records management the HR Director oversees key corporate operations such as, corporate purchasing, corporate insurance policies, and corporate shipping and receiving. This position manages operational partnerships, ensures strong internal controls and efficient workflows, and drives continuous improvement across systems and processes. The HR Director oversees HR team members and the Office Coordinator, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality service delivery across both HR and corporate operations.
The successful candidate would have a minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible Human Resources Experience to include a minimum of five (5) years in a leadership or management role. Strong working knowledge of multi-state employment laws and regulations with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field. Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR is preferred.
The target compensation for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 a year depending on experience.
