We’re looking for dedicated On-Call Banquet Servers to join our team and bring these events to life. As an On-Call Banquet Server, you’ll play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests. You’ll assist with the setup, service, and breakdown of events, ensuring exceptional service and attention to detail at every step. Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to the specifications outlined by the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items to address guest inquiries or special requests.
- Monitor guest needs during events, providing excellent customer service throughout.
- Collaborate with the banquet team to ensure seamless event execution.
- Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of event spaces, ensuring all areas are restored to their original condition.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling procedures.
- Assist in other duties as assigned to keep the events running efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in banquet or event service is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing event needs.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more).
- Lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds (e.g., trays, chairs, tables, and banquet equipment).
- Perform repetitive motions such as bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with periods of high activity.
