[What the role is]
As a Senior/Intelligence Officer/ Assistant Intelligence Officer, Processing & Analysis in the Health Sciences Authority, you will be part of a team to plan and oversee the conduct of intelligence and surveillance into breaches and potential breaches of HSA legislations and regulatory standards.[What you will be working on]
As a Senior/ Intelligence Officer/ Assistant Intelligence Officer, Processing & Analysis in the Health Sciences Authority, you will be required to:
- Provide timely and accurate intelligence reports to apprise key stakeholders on case developments, prevailing trends and the current threat landscape.
- Maintain systematic housekeeping of sensitive information, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to data governance policies.
- Perform fact-finding probes through a myriad of sources of information to build a comprehensive and holistic assessment of the issue at hand.
- Leverage data analysis and analytics tools to sieve through large volumes of data, identifying patterns, outliers and linkages that can address key problem statements.
- Coordinate with operational officers to validate the intelligence collected and formulate action plans.
- Establish and maintain linkages with local and international counterparts to facilitate timely exchange of critical information and support collaborative operational efforts.

- Possesses high standards of professionalism, personal discipline, and integrity.
- Able to remain composed under pressure, manage competing priorities well, and adapt readily to a constantly evolving landscape.
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, and are able to tailor your deliverables to different audiences. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
- Able to synthesise findings across multiple data sources to identify patterns, address problem statements, and translate raw data into actionable intelligence. Examines issues from different angles with rigour and intellectual honesty before drawing conclusions.
- Proactively seeks out new tools and methodologies to collate, process, and visualise data, and are always looking for ways to work more effectively and efficiently.
- Familiarity with law enforcement operations and processes will be an advantage.
- Fresh graduates showing strong interest in intelligence work, particularly in the data processing and analysis domain, are also welcomed.
The successful candidate will be offered a 1-year contract (with option for automatic renewal for a further one year) in the first instance.
