About Your Business Area/Department
The Test Operations Services (TOS) organization, part of Operations Services Globally (OSG), provides Test Systems services and support to the Amadeus Engineering community and external customers. TOS is responsible for ensuring the integrity, stability, availability, and usability of Test Systems across the Amadeus portfolio, enabling validation, training, rehearsals, and user acceptance testing activities that are critical to product delivery and customer success.
Summary of the role
As Manager, Test Systems Operations, you will lead Usability, Content and Services (UCS) and Test Frontline Services (TFS) teams in Bogota, ensuring the availability, stability, usability and continuous improvement of Amadeus Test Systems. You will drive operational excellence, service continuity, automation and collaboration across a 24/5 follow-the-sun organization.
In this role you’ll
Lead Usability, Content and Services and Test Frontline Services teams responsible for delivering reliable and high-quality Test Systems operations.
Ensure operational continuity across a 24/5 follow-the-sun model, including team coverage, service continuity and on-call responsibilities.
Involved in incident management, problem management, change management, functional monitoring, response-time monitoring, service recovery and capture/restore activities.
Drive operational excellence through automation, process improvement, governance and measurable efficiency initiatives.
Ensure service quality and delivery of agreed service levels while continuously improving operational performance.
Define team objectives, develop the required skills and capabilities, coach employees and support their professional growth.
Lead operational and transformational initiatives across Test Systems Operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership teams to shape strategy, address operational priorities and provide visibility to senior management
About the ideal candidate
You hold a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related discipline. Equivalent experience demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills may also be considered.
You have at least seven years of professional experience, including experience within an information technology organization or large enterprise environment.
You have proven experience leading teams and developing people in a complex operational environment.
You have experience managing globally distributed teams and working within a follow-the-sun support model.
You possess strong knowledge of information technology operations in mission-critical environments and a solid understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library processes.
You have practical experience managing incidents, problems, changes, operational monitoring and business continuity activities.
You understand software development lifecycles, system architecture, troubleshooting and cloud technologies.
You have experience driving automation, operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
You communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders and can influence across multiple organizational levels.
You demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making and stakeholder management capabilities.
Certifications in Information Technology Infrastructure Library, cloud technologies, Lean or Six Sigma methodologies would be considered an advantage.
