Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in four Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.
Position Summary
The Senior Director, Healthcare Operations provides strategic operational leadership and oversight for administrative functions supporting Aspire Indiana Health's care services, including clinics, the contact center, referral management, and other designated patient-facing services. Working in partnership with the SVP of Operations, clinical leaders, and enterprise support departments, this position is responsible for translating organizational strategy into consistent operational execution across care settings.
The Senior Director leads the standardization of healthcare operational processes, improves service delivery, enhances the patient and team member experience, and ensures operational performance through data-informed decision-making, continuous process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is accountable for implementing operational priorities, monitoring performance, and supporting sustainable growth while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education, with a minimum of five (5) years of practice management experience preferred; or
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education, with a minimum of seven (7) years of practice management experience in a clinical or primary care setting; or
- Ten (10) or more years of progressive experience in practice management or practice administration
- Management experience in a Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) and/or Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) preferred

- Must be able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and the ability to problem solve and utilize critical thinking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines
- Must possess/maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
- Must have reliable transportation to oversee programming and/or attend trainings and/or meetings
