Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Check In in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide professional communication and customer service. You will help support a secure environment through a visible, customer-focused presence while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, manage visitor access records, and communicate arrival information to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from the front desk; report unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and front desk documentation while providing professional assistance and directions to visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
