Overview
Position: New Graduate - Respiratory Therapist (RT)
Location: Select Specialty Hospital - St. Charles, MO
Schedule: Full-Time Day or Night 5:30pm-6am/5:30a-6pCompensation: $35.30-$47.50/Based on experience
Competitive shift differentials for nights $5 and weekends $3.50
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 NO COMMITMENT/REPAYMENT
New Grad Program: Our new grad RT program is a 13 week paid preceptorship where you will be 1:1 with a skilled instructor! This is for new grads and those with less than 1 year post-grad experience.

Responsibilities
- Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
- Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
- Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
- Promoting continuous quality improvement.
- Teaching and counseling patients/families.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
- Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED
- Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
- Current state licensure is required.
- ACLS is required upon hire.
