Description
A leading client is seeking a skilled IT Auditor to join its assurance team. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys evaluating IT risks, controls, cyber security practices, and governance frameworks while working closely with business stakeholders and audit teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct IT audits in line with established audit methodologies.
- Assess IT general controls, application controls, cyber security, infrastructure, and governance processes.
- Assist with audit planning, risk assessments, testing, reporting, and follow-up activities.
- Review and evaluate risk management practices and recommend improvements.
- Monitor the implementation of management actions arising from audit findings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business units, management, and assurance providers.
- Support the development of audit team members through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing.
- Prepare audit documentation, reports, and progress updates while ensuring quality standards are maintained.
Requirements:
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification with majors in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Auditing, or Auditing.
- Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGIT, or similar.
- Minimum of 2 years' IT audit experience.
- Strong knowledge of IT General Controls, Application Controls, Internal Controls, Risk Management Frameworks (COSO), Corporate and IT Governance, Cyber Security, and Information Security.
- Experience reviewing IT infrastructure, databases, and operating systems.
- Knowledge of data analytics and Computer Assisted Auditing Techniques (CAATs) will be advantageous.
- Excellent analytical thinking, communication, relationship-building, and reporting skills.
- Financial Services experience will be advantageous.
