Job Summary

The Community Based Services (CBS) Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the Respite & Childcare program by delivering exceptional client and associate support, coordinating schedules and records, troubleshooting operational and technology issues, supporting associates with compliance, technology, and scheduling reminders, and collaborating with various Rady Children's Health departments to develop efficient processes and pathways that support a large field-based team with limited resources while ensuring high-quality service for families and staff.

Pay Range

Minimum $25.46 Midpoint $33.73 Maximum $42.01

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience:

Two (2) years’ experience in administrative capacities, with experience relevant to scheduling, customer service, and computer operations. Windows, Microsoft Office proficiency and experience.

Education:

REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent.

PREFERRED:  Bachelor's degree

Specialized Skills:

Position requires local travel. Ability to represent CHOC in an ethical and professional manner. Communication skills including strong interpersonal skills, and ability to speak, read and write effectively in the English language. Bilingual in Spanish & English. Ability to exercise independent judgment and reach logical, practical decisions. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. Strong communication skills including persuasive speaking (both one-on-one and in group setting); ability to listen and respond to questions effectively.

Licensure:
REQUIRED: CA Drivers license, Infant/Child/Adult CPR & First Aid
PREFERRED: Certification in ABA preferred, but not required

Work Environments - Functional Demand:

Light - Moderate energy level Lift and carry 25-35 lbs. Push/pull 50-100 lbs. (ie. empty bed, stretcher).
