We are looking for a Revenue Operations Manager based in Aachen, Germany.
The Revenue Operations Manager plays a key role in the deployment and success of the Commercial Excellence (new Sales organisation ) program across Europe.
Working closely with the Revenue Operations Director, this position is responsible for translating strategic priorities into scalable processes, effective governance, reliable data, and actionable business insights that improve commercial performance.
As a key stakeholder in the Commercial Excellence transformation, the Revenue Operations Manager leads and supports critical initiatives across sales planning, forecasting, territory and account management, quotas, pipeline governance, sales enablement, and performance management. This role is instrumental in driving execution, ensuring adoption, and embedding best practices across the commercial organization.
The position serves as a trusted business partner to Sales Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
The successful candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, operational excellence, sales process expertise, and change management skills.
Key responsibilities of the role:
Commercial Excellence Leadership
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of Commercial Excellence processes, tools, governance, and operating rhythms.
- Drive and Support standardization and adoption of best practices across the sales organization.
- Develop and maintain the commercial operating framework, including performance reviews, sales cadences, pipeline reviews
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, effectiveness, and scalability across the commercial organization.
- Act as a change agent supporting the transformation and maturity of the Commercial Excellence function.
- Monitor quota attainment, productivity metrics, and business performance, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Support incentive compensation planning and performance measurement programs.
- Deliver executive-level business reviews and performance insights.
Revenue & Sales Operations
- Own forecasting discipline, pipeline governance, opportunity management, and sales performance reporting.
- Monitor revenue performance, identifying risks and opportunities to improve business outcomes.
- Lead win/loss analysis, customer performance reviews, and growth opportunity assessments.
Data Governance & Commercial Systems
- Ensure customer ownership, account assignment, territory structures, and sales hierarchies are accurately maintained.
- Drive continuous improvement in data quality, integrity, and reporting accuracy.
- Partner with IT and system administrators to optimize Revenue operations capabilities and system integrations.
- Ensure alignment and consistency of commercial data across all business platforms.
Sales Enablement & Capability Development
- Develop and deploy enablement programs that improve sales execution, productivity, and adopt commercial processes.
- Create and maintain sales playbooks, process documentation, training materials, and operating procedures.
- Partner with Sales Leadership to identify capability gaps and support skill development initiatives.
- Drive adoption of reporting solutions, and Commercial Excellence methodologies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to sales leadership and key business stakeholders.
- Influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations and business insights.
Required qualifications and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, Business Analytics, or related functions.
- Strong experience supporting commercial organizations through growth, transformation, or Commercial Excellence initiatives.
- Proven experience with quota planning, territory planning, forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance management.
- Expertise in Salesforce and commercial reporting platforms such as Power BI, Sigma, Tableau, or similar tools.
- English - fluent, mandatory for this role, any other language is a plus.
- Advanced analytical capabilities
- Experience leading process improvement and business transformation initiatives.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience working closely with senior sales leadership and executive teams.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change, improve sales productivity, and implement scalable commercial processes.
