He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Change Analyst to support the delivery of change and training activities across the Donesafe project on a 6 month contract. Working closely with the Donesafe Change Lead, project team and stakeholders across Watercare, you’ll help prepare our people for the introduction of Donesafe and support them as they transition to new processes and ways of working.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll support change planning, stakeholder engagement, communications, training and readiness activities. You’ll also help gather feedback, track actions and ensure change materials and project information remain accurate and up to date.
Support the Donesafe Change Lead with change and training activities
Assist with change impact and readiness assessments
Help identify impacted teams, roles, processes and ways of working
Support the development and delivery of stakeholder engagement plans
Coordinate workshops, meetings and engagement sessions
Prepare clear and practical communications, presentations and supporting materials
Assist with the development and coordination of training resources and activities
Maintain stakeholder lists, change plans, action registers and project documentation
Gather and analyse stakeholder feedback to identify themes, concerns and areas requiring additional support
Track change readiness, training completion, adoption and other change measures
Support leaders and people managers with information and resources to help their teams through the change
Work with the wider project team to ensure change activities align with key project milestones
Provide wider support to Watercare’s change capability where required

You’ll be organised, approachable and comfortable working with people across different areas of the business. You’ll have strong attention to detail and be able to turn complex project information into clear, practical communications and resources.
You will bring:
Experience supporting change, transformation, technology implementation or business improvement projects
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong planning, coordination and organisational skills
Experience preparing communications, presentations, training materials or project documentation
The ability to gather information, identify themes and present findings clearly
Confidence facilitating meetings, workshops or engagement sessions
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate project information
The ability to manage competing priorities in a changing project environment
A collaborative, proactive and practical approach
Experience with health and safety systems, learning and development, or digital change would be advantageous
A change management qualification or familiarity with recognised change methodologies would also be beneficial
