Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Task Project Manager II to oversee assigned projects and work packages within the energy sector, with preference for candidates who have experience in nuclear power environments.

This role is responsible for coordinating resources, tracking project progress, managing schedules, supporting safe work execution, and ensuring project activities are completed in accordance with approved plans, procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects, tasks, and work packages from planning through completion.

• Track project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and overall progress.

• Coordinate engineering, construction, operations, contractors, vendors, and other project resources.

• Identify project risks, issues, and schedule impacts and support timely resolution.

• Ensure project activities comply with applicable safety, quality, regulatory, and procedural requirements.

• Monitor contractor and vendor performance as applicable.

• Support project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource coordination.

• Maintain accurate project documentation, status reports, and action-item tracking.

• Communicate project status, risks, and priorities to management and key stakeholders.

• Coordinate meetings, field activities, and project execution requirements.

• Support safe and efficient implementation of project work.

• Ensure work is completed within established scope, schedule, and quality expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• 6–10 years of experience managing projects or major work activities in the energy sector.

• Strong project planning, scheduling, coordination, and organizational skills.

• Experience managing multiple priorities and project stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively with engineering, construction, operations, contractors, and management teams.

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Nuclear power experience preferred.

• Experience supporting nuclear plant projects, modifications, outages, or construction activities.

• PMP certification recommended.

• Utility, power generation, or large industrial project experience.

• Experience with project controls, cost tracking, risk management, and contractor oversight.
