Success in this role requires strong operational leadership, sound judgment, effective communication, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver who can assess impacts, coordinate recovery efforts, and build strong partnerships across lines of business to ensure the continuity of critical services and support for clients and teammates.

Responsibilities

  • Assess business impacts and coordinate response efforts to minimize disruption to clients, teammates, and critical business operations.

  • Manage multiple concurrent events with a high degree of accuracy, urgency, and attention to detail.

  • Partners across Consumer, Technology, Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, Security, and other enterprise teams to support the timely restoration of services and operations.

  • Coordinate response and recovery activities for Financial Centers and administrative sites impacted by operational disruptions.

  • Leverage available tools, resources, and established procedures to resolve issues and support business recovery efforts.

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with line of business stakeholders, serving as a trusted point of contact during disruptive events.

  • Communicate effectively with business partners and leadership, providing timely updates, guidance, and escalation support as needed.

  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives, discussions, and exercises to strengthen business continuity preparedness and recovery capabilities.

  • Identify potential business continuity risks, operational gaps, and opportunities for process improvement, escalating concerns when appropriate.

  • Develop and enhance procedures, job aids, and business processes to improve operational readiness and response effectiveness.

  • Manage and prioritize requests received through the Readiness & Response shared inbox and workflow tools, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.

  • Consistently meet established timelines, service level agreements (SLAs), and operational commitments.

  • Foster strong collaboration and partnership across Consumer Business Continuity and key enterprise stakeholders.

  • Requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule for one week at a time, approximately every 4-6 weeks from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET, seven days a week, with 24-hour support provided through the toll-free number.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of leadership experience within the Financial Center and/or Contact Center line of business.

  • Understanding Business Continuity and operational resilience principles, including preparedness, response, recovery, and minimizing the impact of business disruptions.

  • Strong understanding of the Enterprise Risk Framework.

  • Strategic, solutions-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams to achieve shared objectives.

  • Ability to build partnerships and foster a positive, inclusive team culture within a diverse workforce.

  • Solid understanding of Consumer business operations and cross-functional partner dependencies across the organization.

  • Experience managing operational disruptions, incident response activities, and business recovery efforts.
