Sakhi for South Asian Survivors exists to represent the South Asian and Indo Caribbean diaspora in a survivor-led movement for gender-justice and to honor the collective and inherent power of all survivors of violence. Sakhi is committed to serving survivors through a combination of efforts including—but not limited to—direct services, advocacy and organizing, technical assistance, and community outreach.

 

Sakhi serves survivors from the South Asian and Indo-Caribbean diaspora who trace their backgrounds to Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the West Indies, and Africa. Members of our community come from diverse backgrounds including age range, gender, religion, ethnic origin, economic and educational background, language spoken, and immigration status. We work to represent, inform, actively engage, and mobilize the South Asian community in an intersectional, intergenerational survivor-led movement for gender justice.

This is a full-time role that requires flexibility with schedule.

Who You Are

This new role will be responsible for building out the program and provide program team with data-driven insights to enhance service delivery and client outcomes. The Manager, who also supervises a Sr. Program Associate on the team, holds responsibilities across a range of activities including performance measurement and monitoring, quality improvement initiatives, client database management, data collection tool development, evaluation activities, and organizational learning. The Manager will collaborate closely with direct services team members to define key program metrics, create impactful visualizations and reports that monitor performance, conduct trainings on the use of data tools, and facilitate discussions on the use of data for performance improvement. This is a full-time position and will report directly to the Associate Director of Finance & Operations.

What You'll Do

  • Provide direct supervision to Sr. Program Data Associate.
  • Collaborate with program and administrative team on the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and visualizations that monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs), client outcomes, and service utilization, ensuring that team have access to the information they need to make decisions.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform program improvement, program planning, as well as to support grant/funder reporting.
  • Prepare and present data findings to various audiences, including program team, management, and other stakeholders, in a clear and concise manner.
  • Manage data structures, workflows, and user onboarding of organizational CRM, Salesforce in partnership with external consultants and internal team.
  • Develop and implement data quality tools and processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide training, technical assistance, and other ongoing support to program team on the use of data analysis tools, report interpretation, and data quality/data integrity processes, including the developing of training materials, user guides, and other resources as needed.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and management of quality improvement plans and strategies.
  • Support the administration and analysis of client feedback surveys and focus groups, to evaluate quality of services/operations, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support program evaluation and research projects, including generating and cleaning datasets for analysis, and contributing to the development of evaluation reports or presentations, in collaboration with internal program evaluation team and external evaluation partners.
  • Coordinate with grant compliance and finance team to ensure reports for institutional funders are accurate and submitted in a timely fashion.
  • Continuously evaluate available software tools and integrations which may improve programmatic data management and oversee implementation as needed.
  • Ensure best data practices and systems in place for client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance with respect to all data practices.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Social Sciences).
  • Experience working with or as program team in a direct service environment, preferably in a nonprofit or human services setting, or experience related to program evaluation
  • Strong knowledge and technical skills of statistical analysis techniques, querying languages, and supportive computer software packages (e.g. SQL, SPSS, Salesforce etc.)
  • Experience with data visualization, conducting internal data audits, information design, and/or workflow automation and design using visualization tools such as Power BI (preferred), Tableau, Looker, Google Data Studio, etc.

What We Offer

Application InformationThe salary range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000 commensurate with experience. Sakhi offers health and dental benefits, paid parental leave and all full-time team members have access to clinical supervision.
