Lending Customer Success Graduate
Ebury Sydney Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week
The Lending Customer Success team is responsible for driving the client journey from the moment a Supplier Payment Finance line is approved. This includes supporting the onboarding of new businesses, assisting with the end-to-end invoice financing process and learning to monitor client utilisation to help drive retention as well as support future credit line amendments.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Lending Customer Success Graduate to join our team in Sydney. In this role, you will learn to support the client journey from credit line approval through to trade execution and ongoing account support. Positioned at the centre of our middle office, you will work closely with experienced team members, as well as Credit Risk, Product and Tech teams, learning how to deliver a standout client experience and scale a modern lending platform.
What you’ll do
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Lending Customer Success Graduate to join our team. In this role, you will support the client journey from the moment a credit line is approved, serving as a key operational contact for lending SME clients. Working alongside senior team members, you will assist clients through onboarding, support the seamless funding of their invoices and help manage their ongoing account health to drive retention. Positioned at the centre of our middle office, you will collaborate closely with Client Portfolio Managers, Sales, Credit Risk, Product and Tech teams to address day-to-day queries, champion the client experience and learn how we scale our lending platform through continuous automation.
Key Responsibilities
Client Onboarding & Portfolio Support
- Onboarding Execution: Assist with issuing T&Cs, gathering documentation and guiding new clients through a seamless onboarding experience.
- Portfolio Coordination: Support senior team members in monitoring client account health, assisting with credit line amendments and tracking upcoming renewals.
- Client Engagement: Serve as a responsive, helpful point of contact for day-to-day client queries, supporting Client Portfolio Managers, helping drive platform adoption and build strong client relationships.
Operational Execution & Risk Compliance
- Invoice & Document Review: Learn to conduct due diligence on client documentation and invoices, ensuring full alignment with internal credit risk, compliance and insurance guidelines.
- Trade Booking Support: Assist in processing trade bookings, verifying legal debt instruments and ensuring timely funding disbursements to suppliers.
- Repayment Tracking & Reconciliation: Help monitor loan lifecycles, track repayment schedules and work with operations to investigate and resolve minor payment discrepancies.
Fintech Collaboration
- Cross-Functional Learning: Shadow and collaborate with internal Tech, Product and Risk squads to understand platform workflows.
- Process Improvement: Share frontline user observations and feedback to help identify automation opportunities and elevate the customer portal experience.
What you’ll need
We are looking for a driven, fast-learning graduate with a strong interest in fintech, commercial lending and customer success.
Experience
Educational Background: Recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Business, Commerce,
Economics, STEM, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Communication & Relationship Skills: Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous organisational skills and high accuracy when reviewing documentation, numbers and transaction details.
Numerical Literacy: Comfortable with basic financial concepts, data analysis in Google Sheets and tracking payment schedules.
Problem-Solving Ability: A naturally curious mind, eager to troubleshoot queries, ask questions and adapt to fast-paced team environments.
Technical Aptitude: Tech-savvy and excited to master modern workplace software (e.g., Salesforce, internal fintech platforms and Google Workplace).
Prior Exposure (Bonus): Any internship, part-time work or university society experience in customer service, banking, fintech or business operations is a plus but not required.
