Technical Consultant

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Consultant to work with their teams to bring clients live on enterprise cloud software for investment management.

About the Role & Platform

Our client's platform is a cloud-native, AI-first system built on a unified data model, with technical integration delivered via APIs. The core skill this role requires is a feel for modern, API-based, event-driven data flows versus older batch/file-based integration patterns. Candidates who have integrated or migrated across investment and wealth platforms are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Work with internal and client technical, functional, and project management resources to support a successful go live and set the client team up for success
• Work with the client team to verify integration scope, determine individual integration requirements, and deliver scalable solutions
• Assist clients with eliciting integration requirements, prepare designs, and document processes and requirements based on complexity
• Analyze current technologies and technical capabilities used by clients to identify technical solutions and process improvements
• Collaborate within project teams to support integration implementation and document customizations where applicable
• Configure, test, and deploy packaged integrations
• Contribute to the integration library using the organization's integration platform
• Deliver accurate and timely responses to clients and the implementation team, verbal and written, related to integration development tasks
• Adhere to information security policies

Requirements

• Previous experience designing and deploying integrations for SaaS companies, using REST or similar API technology
• Strong technical skills with experience in SQL, database management systems such as MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres, and data integration or ETL tools
• Experience with low code integration platform as a service tools, such as Workato or similar, and/or modern CSV data migration tools, such as Flatfile.io
• Hands-on experience working with similar systems such as Addepar, Envestnet, SS&C Technologies, Advent, Clearwater, BNY Eagle, SEI, or FIS Eagle
• Comfortable working with Google Apps, Slack, JIRA/Confluence, AWS, and GitHub
• Experience in the financial services industry
• 10-12+ years of relevant experience (Snr Manager / Director level)
