What You Will Do
Ascension Texas Cardiovascular is seeking a dedicated Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider to deliver high-quality patient care in Round Rock, TX.
- Join an established team of 6 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Combined inpatient and outpatient practice setting
- Employed position within a trusted nonprofit health system
- Guide patient care journeys across both inpatient and outpatient settings, managing complex cardiac conditions and electrophysiology (EP) procedures to optimize long-term outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists on pre-procedure workups, post-intervention recovery, and urgent inpatient consultations to ensure swift patient stabilization.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, risk reduction, and procedure outcomes to empower shared decision-making
- Ensure seamless continuity of care through effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and accurate, timely documentation

What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
Education:
- Master's degree of Nursing required.
Additional Preferences
- 2 years of clinical experience in cardiology preferred
- Active Acute Care Certification required for nurse practitioner candidates
