The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff to serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the Head of AI. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, operates comfortably at executive level, and has the ability to translate vision into execution.
The Chief of Staff will orchestrate strategic initiatives across engineering, product, research, finance and executive leadership. This individual will help shape priorities, drive operational excellence, ensure organizational alignment, and maximize the effectiveness of the AI leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership
- Serve as a trusted thought partner to the Head of AI on strategy, organizational priorities, and executive decision-making.
- Translate strategic objectives into measurable execution plans across the AI organization.
- Identify emerging opportunities, risks, dependencies, and organizational gaps before they become issues.
- Conduct strategic analyses to support investment decisions, business cases, and executive recommendations.
Executive Operations
- Drive the operating rhythm of the AI organization, including leadership meetings, quarterly business reviews, planning cycles, and executive communications.
- Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics that provide actionable insights.
- Ensure alignment across multiple workstreams while maintaining focus on strategic priorities.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Build trusted relationships across Product, Engineering, Research, Legal, Security, Finance, HR, Corporate Strategy, and Business Units.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives requiring executive sponsorship and organizational alignment.
- Remove barriers to execution and facilitate rapid decision-making.
- Represent the AI organization in executive forums when appropriate.
Organizational Effectiveness
- Improve organizational processes, governance, and decision-making frameworks.
- Support annual planning, budgeting, headcount planning, and resource allocation.
- Establish scalable operating mechanisms that enable high-performing teams.
- Drive continuous improvement across planning and execution disciplines.
Executive Communications
- Prepare executive presentations, board materials, strategic narratives, and communications for senior leadership.
- Craft compelling messages that simplify complex AI topics for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure consistency in messaging across the AI organization.
Special Initiatives
- Lead high-priority strategic programs sponsored by executive leadership.
- Evaluate partnerships, acquisitions, ecosystem opportunities, and emerging technologies.
- Drive confidential initiatives requiring executive discretion.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, technology leadership, corporate strategy, product management, investment banking, or similar strategic roles.
- Experience operating within complex global technology organizations.
- Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide initiatives without direct authority.
- Experience managing highly confidential strategic initiatives.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in AI, machine learning, data platforms, cloud technologies, or enterprise software.
- Previous experience as a Chief of Staff, Strategy Director, GM, or Management Consultant (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or equivalent).
- Experience supporting C-level or SVP-level executives.
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
