Description
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the timely settlement of all Federal Reserve-eligible securities through the BNY Mellon clearance platform.
Monitor and reconcile securities and cash positions, investigating and resolving any exceptions or discrepancies.
Track and report TMPG-eligible fails and assist in the management and remediation of fail exposures.
Escalate operational issues and settlement risks to appropriate management and stakeholders in a timely manner.
Oversee FICC-related activities to ensure alignment with funding and settlement requirements.
Process and manage triparty collateral position allocations and related activity.
Monitor daily liquidity positions and funding requirements to help prevent daylight overdrafts and other settlement-related liquidity risks.
Support Treasury auction operations, including the processing of firm and customer bids and the review and maintenance of all associated documentation.
Coordinate with trading, operations, treasury, collateral management, and external service providers to facilitate seamless settlement and clearance activities.
Maintain compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree
Full trade life cycle understanding to support the settlement processing supporting all Securities product type
Manage manual tasks in the role and investigate to improve/automate
Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical and communication skills
Process improvement/re-engineering
The expected base salary ranges from $85,000 - $125,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, including Medical, Dental and 401K plans, successful candidates are also eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
