Description
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Language: English (written and spoken) Bilingualism is an asset.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years preferably in a manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of papermaking is an asset.
- Strong leadership skills and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously seek opportunities for freight reduction with existing business and target new business with more competitive freight.
- Support marketing and sales strategies by providing detailed market information to mill management, customer service, and others within the marketing group in regular reports.
- Engage in regular communication with current and potential customers through email, phone calls, video conference and in-person visits.
- Manage all secondary sales.
- Provide customers with price and delivery quotations and make follow-up calls to turn inquiries into orders.
- Provide effective order fulfillment services to ensure customers’ needs are fully met in terms of quality, service, and on-time delivery objectives.
- Enter and maintain reliable information in the order fulfillment system.
- Manage inventory programs, by reporting traffic / shipping, warehousing and handling costs accurately.
- Prepare reports and statistics by planning forecasts one month in advance, summarizing sales orders or analyzing customer satisfaction.
- Continuously improve the order fulfillment process and system by enhancing work processes, developing reports, and troubleshooting everyday operational issues to offer optimal customer service.
- Provide backup for other Customer Service or Sales Representatives of absence or workflow.
- Comply with all health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as applicable regulations and laws.
