Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Assembler with experience building, installing, and assembling mechanical components on heavy equipment, machinery, or custom-built products. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand tools, reading work instructions, and working with mechanical systems. This role focuses on custom assembly work rather than repetitive production-line assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components.
- Install and torque bolts, hydraulic hoses, fittings, and related components.
- Read and follow blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and torque tools safely and effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as needed.
- Maintain quality and safety standards throughout the build process.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of mechanical assembly, equipment installation, machinery build, or maintenance experience.
- Experience working with heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, industrial machinery, or similar products.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Experience working with heavy equipment, machinery, or industrial products.
- Heavy equipment assembly or repair.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and various positions, including standing, kneeling, and climbing.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
