Housing Program Coordinator (Full-Time)

Appleseed Community Mental Health Center, Inc.
$20.00–$24.00/hour (based on education and experience)
40 hours/week | Monday-Friday
Help individuals and families find stability through housing.

As a Housing Program Coordinator, you'll combine direct client services with property management and program administration, helping individuals and families maintain stable housing while overseeing the day-to-day operations of our housing programs.

What You'll Do
- Provide housing-focused case management services and develop individualized housing plans.
- Assist clients in locating, obtaining, and maintaining safe, affordable housing.
- Conduct client intakes, assessments, and ongoing support.
- Serve as the landlord for agency-owned and leased properties, including tenant communication, inspections, lease documentation, and move-in/move-out processes.
- Complete regular property visits to ensure housing standards and address maintenance concerns.
- Coordinate with landlords, housing authorities, courts, contractors, and community partners.
- Maintain accurate documentation in HMIS and other required systems.
- Complete grant-related documentation, data entry, spreadsheet tracking, and reporting.
- Monitor program compliance and maintain organized client and housing records.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with agency staff to ensure quality services.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in housing services, case management, property management, social services, or a related field.
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently.
- Commitment to client advocacy and ethical practice.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field.
- Experience with housing programs, affordable housing, property management, or grant-funded services.
- Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, housing instability, mental health, or substance use concerns.
Also Considered
- Associate degree with relevant experience.
- High School Diploma/GED with significant related experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance.
- Ability to travel locally throughout the community.
- Successful completion of a background check, driving record check, and drug screening.
