Summary: The Brand Manager will drive day-to-day execution of brand initiatives, overseeing specific categories and retail accounts. This role requires strong project management, creative problem-solving, and the ability to balance consumer insights with retailer needs. The Brand Manager will partner closely with sales, creative, and insights teams to execute programs that build brand equity and deliver measurable retail results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to maximize all marketing opportunities and ensure successful execution (e.g., retail activation, product pages, social media, digital campaigns, traditional and non-traditional media planning, to cite a few).
- Manage the detailed execution of marketing campaigns from awareness building to conversion. Monitor program success and perform post-campaign analysis to recommend optimization for future campaigns
- Work with agency partners on creative communication and brand outreach strategy, including creative development of digital campaigns and social presence across all platforms to keep the brand fresh and relevant for our target consumer (A/B testing messaging & creative ads, vetting influencers, partnering with Key Opinion Leaders…)
- Translate consumer insights and category trends into brand strategies, roadmaps, and retailer-specific plans.
- Lead the execution of new product launches from packaging and claims to sell-in and in-market activation.
- Partner with Sales to develop retailer programs for Walmart, Amazon, Target, and other accounts
- Conduct competitive analysis and recommend strategies to maximize market opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Innovation, Creative, PR, Supply Chain, Finance) and external agencies to ensure seamless execution of brand campaigns.
- Develop sell-in tools, sales collateral, and promotional calendars to support retail partners.
- Support the brand director in building retailer relationships and presenting new business opportunities.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 4–6 years of brand management/marketing experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (OTC, Dietary Supplements, or personal care strongly preferred).
- Experience in retail execution for xAOC and Amazon.
- Experience in digital marketing, strong familiarity with all parts of the digital marketing funnel.
- Demonstrated success in launching and managing products with measurable business results.
- Experience working for small or start-up company or brand a plus; ability to wear multiple hats is a must.
- MBA preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable analyzing and synthetizing data and consumer research from numerous sources; familiarity with Nielsen or other syndicated retail/shopper data panels a plus; able to turn data into insights and action.
- Demonstrated success in strategy development and execution across brand, innovation, and retail marketing.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and profitability analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; persuasive and collaborative, able to influence across teams and with retail buyers.
- Creative problem-solver and team player with entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Some travel required.
