Job Summary
The Senior Professional Services Specialist serves as the primary relationship manager and trusted partner for Interim Leaders throughout their assignments. This role is responsible for onboarding, engagement support, issue resolution, and ongoing success management for a portfolio of healthcare interim executives working with AMN Healthcare clients.
The ideal candidate combines strong customer service and account management experience with exceptional communication skills and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with professionalism and confidence. This individual acts as the main point of contact for Interim Leaders, ensuring a successful assignment experience while proactively identifying opportunities, addressing concerns, and fostering long-term relationships that drive business growth and client satisfaction.
What You'll Do
Interim Leader Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Interim Leaders throughout their assignment lifecycle.
- Conduct regular check-ins and monthly live conversations to ensure successful engagement outcomes.
- Build trusted relationships and provide ongoing consultation, support, and guidance.
- Identify potential engagement concerns early and proactively facilitate solutions before escalation becomes necessary.
Onboarding & Engagement Success
- Lead orientation and onboarding processes, educating Interim Leaders on AMN Healthcare policies, processes, systems, and expectations.
- Prepare Interim Leaders for their first day and support a seamless transition into client organizations.
- Ensure all placement, assignment, and engagement details are accurately documented within internal systems.
- Manage assignment-related administrative functions, including expense report review and approvals.
Case Management & Problem Resolution
- Manage assignment-related issues from initial inquiry through resolution.
- Navigate challenging conversations and provide professional support during sensitive situations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve concerns efficiently while maintaining a positive experience for Interim Leaders and clients.
- Maintain a solutions-oriented approach focused on timely case resolution and service excellence.
Business Development Support
- Identify referral opportunities and generate qualified leads for the sales team.
- Leverage relationships with Interim Leaders to expand business opportunities and support organizational growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with recruiters, sales representatives, and operations teams to enhance service delivery and market success
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Associate's degree and 2+ years of professional experience; or
- High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of professional experience.
Preferred Experience
- Customer success, account management, client services, healthcare staffing, recruiting support, or consultative customer service experience.
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients, candidates, or customer relationships.
- Experience resolving complex customer issues and delivering exceptional service.
- Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining detailed documentation.
- Prior experience supporting healthcare professionals, physicians, or interim leaders is a plus.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
- Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate
$19.50 - $24.25 HourlyFinal pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
