We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic Site Engineer to join us, based from our Port Augusta location. As a Site Engineer, you will assist managing the delivery of the Annual Renewal Works Program (ARWP) and Minor Capital Works (MCWs) along with the Routine Maintenance Services (RMS) and Specific Maintenance Services (SMS).
This role requires travel into regional South Australia and the candidate will have access to Service Stream pool vehicles to perform these jobs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and participate in team/divisional activities, meetings and day to day work activities demonstrating respect and consideration for individuals and their experiences and expertise.

- Work with the Delivery team to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Day-to-day management of the site in conjunction with the Delivery team, including monitoring the site labor force and monitoring the work of the sub-contractors.
- Ensuring all work accomplishment data is correctly entered into our JAMS system.
- Ensure quality control is followed and relevant documents are completed, with particular attention to SharePoint filing requirements.
- Updating of works programs.
- Supplying accomplishment and progress reports to the delivery managers & key internal stakeholders.
- Preparation of relevant monthly reports.
- Compiling project completion and handover information.
- Assist the Delivery teams to undertake pre-work activities such as coordinating with pastoralists/landowners and Local Government Authorities, traffic management planning, preparation of required management plans and acquiring permits and approvals.
- Assist the project manager with procurement and preparation and administration of subcontracts.
- Resolve any technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise.
- Liaise with the client and ensure communication between parties is maintained.
About You:
- Experience in Transport Infrastructure (desirable)
- Understanding of Department of Infrastructure and Transport construction and maintenance (desirable).
- White Card General Induction for Construction in SA
- Civil Engineering degree (or other engineering discipline) is essential
- First Aid Certificate
- WZTM Ticket
