Customer Service Employee

Summary of the Role

As a Customer Service Employee, you will be at the heart of our European customer operations, ensuring that orders, quotations, and customer requests are handled accurately and professionally from start to finish. You will work closely with colleagues across Sales, Finance, Operations, Warehouse, and Technical Support, building strong relationships while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Role and Responsibilities

• Act as a primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders across Europe.
• Create and process quotations and customer orders using SAP and related systems.
• Manage customer inquiries received via email, telephone, and ticketing systems.
• Provide customers with accurate updates regarding orders, deliveries, and requests.
• Handle returns, warranty claims, credit requests, and other after-sales activities.
• Resolve customer issues and coordinate appropriate escalation when required.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Warehouse, Operations, and Technical Support teams.
• Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of customer and order information.
• Proactively follow up on open quotations, orders, and customer requests.
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and customer-focused team environment.

Skills and Qualifications

Must-Have

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Customer-oriented attitude with a professional and friendly approach.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.

Nice-to-have

• Experience in customer service, order management, logistics, administration, or a similar business environment.
• Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems such as Oracle.
• French language skills.
• Additional European language skills, including Dutch.
