- Oversee the execution of construction contracts from procurement through construction and warranty phase, ensuring the City and contractors fulfill their contractual obligations.
- Provide constructability reviews of municipal utility infrastructure project plans and specifications.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on sewer construction methods, construction contract administration, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Verify adequate safety measures are employed within the project area to ensure the safety of contractors, City employees, and the public.
- Oversee the work of technicians and/or oversee and coordinate the work of consultants, along with providing engineering support to other bureau teams.
