This outstanding opportunity will challenge you to work closely with various collaborators, including Category Supplier Managers, Central Engineering, and Finance, to effectively carry out ambitious procurement strategies.
## Responsibilities
- Manage procurement process for Capital, Spares, and Services.
- Coordinate Procure to Pay (P2P) process, ensuring seamless delivery dates, cash flow maintenance, budgeting, and invoice reconciliation.
- Maintain timely delivery (OTD) to meet network capacity requirements.
- Act as the primary contact for site/network suppliers and manage supplier relationships.
- Perform commercial supplier qualification to ensure strategic supplier development.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers while addressing performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with Micron’s code-of-conduct and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
- Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions across multiple organizational levels.
- Drive localization efforts to improve supply chain resilience and cost competitiveness.
## Supplier-Related Savings and Negotiations
- Apply data and should-cost models to drive cost improvements.
- Serve as the subject matter expert, sharing supplier knowledge with key collaborators.
- Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals.
- Develop contract strategies, negotiate terms, and enforce conditions with managed suppliers.
## Supplier Performance Management
- Partner with the Category team to build a comprehensive view of supplier performance.
- Collect and relay site-specific priorities to suppliers.
- Collaborate internally to develop key performance measures for strategic suppliers and monitor their performance to ensure continuous improvement.
AI-Enabled Continuous Improvement
- Adopt and lead automation or AI‑enabled continuous improvement projects/initiatives to drive overall business process simplification, productivity and operational excellence improvements.
## Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in Engineering, Purchasing/Procurement, or Supply Chain.
- Prior experience managing semiconductor equipment is preferred.
## Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
