Senior Specialist Program and Project Management Nicosia

The Role

As Senior Specialist Program and Project Management, you will be a technical project manager delivering banking technology projects on time, within scope and within budget.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties for flawless project execution, including the IT PMO, Business PM team, IT teams and third party vendors
• Define and understand project scope and objectives with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop detailed project plans to track and monitor progress
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as required
• Manage relationships with the client and all internal and external stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimise project risks
• Create and maintain project documentation, including WSRs, project initiation, project plans and technical specifications

What You Will Bring

• Proven experience as a project manager in the information technology sector
• Solid technical background with understanding or hands on experience of software development and web or cloud technologies
• Strong knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Escalation management
• Excellent client facing and internal communication skills, written and verbal
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and multitasking
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Degree in computer science or engineering preferred
• Fluent Greek and English

• MPP experience for estimation
• Banking domain knowledge and experience
• Cross cultural skills and ownership of multi vendor teams
• Running more than one project across different technologies or business areas
• Hybrid methodology experience
