About the Role
Responsible to handle and supervise the renovation projects for office premises & building in Hong Kong and Macau, including liaising with landlord, building management company and tenant / end user.
This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Project Management (50%)
- Manage and support the end-to-end delivery of interior fit-out and renovation projects, overseeing design development, tendering, construction, implementation, testing and commissioning, defect rectification, and project handover, covering building works, MEP services, furniture, telecommunications, security systems, and related infrastructure.
- Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate with business users, consultants, designers, contractors, landlords, and relevant authorities to ensure successful project execution while meeting project scope, budget, programme, quality, safety, and operational requirements.
2. Cost and Contract Management (50%)
- Manage contract administration and commercial aspects of projects, including monitoring project expenditures, evaluating variations and claims, reviewing payment applications, negotiating commercial terms, and administering final account settlements. Ensure all contractual and financial matters are managed effectively in accordance with approved budgets, company policies, contractual requirements, and project objectives.
- Prepare quantity take-offs, measurement of works, Bills of Quantities, and cost analyses based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Conduct valuation of completed works, variations, and change orders to support project budgeting, cost control, payment certification, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in preparing project budgets, cost estimates, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts for interior fit-out, renovation, relocation, and reinstatement projects. Coordinate tendering and procurement activities, including preparation of tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BQ), scope of works, bid evaluations, contractor selection, and award recommendations to achieve cost-effective and value-driven project outcomes.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on procurement, contractual, and cost-related matters. Facilitate commercial negotiations, resolve financial and contractual issues, and ensure project delivery is achieved within approved budgetary and contractual parameters.
- Monitor project costs, commitments, and financial performance throughout project execution. Identify potential cost risks and opportunities, provide regular cost reports, budget updates, and financial analyses, and recommend value engineering initiatives to support informed management decisions and effective cost control.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- University graduates preferably in Engineering, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or equivalents
- Minimum 5 years relevant experiences
- Good command of English & Chinese
- Mature, well-organized, detailed-minded with a strong sense of responsibility
- Good communication, negotiation and co-ordination skills
- Knowledge in project management in interior renovation projects
- PC skills in office operating software (ie. Autocad, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc)
- The incumbent is required to obtain relevant license if the job involves in regulated activities.
