The Position
The Senior Director/VP Portfolio Management position will report directly to the CDO and will be a key manager of Arevon’s growing Development Portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Upstream Reporting: Board liaison for the CDO organization coordinating approval requests and Board reporting/data management.
- Portfolio Management:
- Strategic planning for future stagegate requests, ensuring project tracking and stagegate requirements are met.
- Management of development pipeline from a portfolio view – aligning company financial goals with project schedules and budgets.
- Assisting CDO org in guiding Arevon through industry cliffs, such as the ITC cliff or other industry and regulatory challenges.
- Coordinate funding memos (Uncontracted as well as late-stage projects) (project specific and annual funding) to ensure accuracy, timeliness and sign off from other subject matter experts.
- Coordinate late-stage project pricing priorities and inputs.
- Manage Portfolio Management Team staff.
- Assist with one-off CDO organization tasks or projects.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required, including writing, proofreading, grammar, syntax, and use of AP Style.
- Commitment to customer service is a must.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities daily.
- Possess an eye for detail and the desire for continuous process improvement.
- Ability to work with team members in different locations around the country.
- Experience in Project Development (6+ years), 10-15 years in the energy industry or a related field.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Ability to travel domestically, up to 30% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent education.
- 10+ years in energy development experience.
